The portal AUA point of the regional company for environmental protection (ARPA), aims to monitor the emissions into air and water of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region. The year 2020 was a year of simplification of the application, we are one of only 130 proactive companies in the improvement and simplification of the portal.
WATER BASED
PAINTS
In order to safeguard health, safety and the environment and thanks to the help of qualified and reliable partners, we have introduced in our “water based” epoxy coating cycle to replace the “solvent based” epoxy products drastically reducing the rate of emissions of volatile organic compounds without altering the quality. This quality is also guaranteed by the use of the most recent and sophisticated painting systems with head catalysis. Verification of the applied thicknesses is carried out by means of special digital detectors.
PLASTIC
FREE
In order to minimize the production of plastic and the use of plastic cups and bowls, we replaced the bottled water dispensers with turrets connected to the water mains and provided the employees with aluminum flasks. We also added a compactor to the canteen to optimise the disposal of plastics from food consumption from vending machines.
SMALTIMENTO
ASSISTITO
Many of our processes, such as painting, tempering or shot blasting, irremediably produce waste and special waste. For this reason we rely on the company Intramedia Smaltimento Assistito, professionals who work alongside us to better organize all the operational and documentary stages of waste management, from the correct classification, through the appropriate management of our storage until the transfer to authorized destinies that deal with disposal, in order to minimize the impact on the environment.
